A day off..

 

      

I love a well spent day off; Sketchbooks are at the ready, as are the pens.

First things first, I have been ask to create a new logo for a doggy rescue centre based in Bestwood. I made a visit to the centre last week when it was still snowy and did a spot of photography for the lovely lady that runs it. I ended up wanting to adopt all of the lovely animals!

My 2010 diary is slowly but surely filling up with wonderful events, one being Passion Pit! (They’re finally coming to Nottingham!) there is still plenty of room for a much needed holiday though.

It’s all over.

It’s 3 days into the new year and I’m only just updating my blog, how very disappointed I am with my self for all the neglect!. I was very sad to see off 2009 as it has been a very happy year for me - Rome, my degree show, Newquay, Graduating, Creamfields and some how managing to blag an internship with the fabulous Jon Burgerman; 2010 has a lot to live up to and so far it’s not doing so well. I wont be too negative as it’s only been 3 days but it’s safe to say I’m clueless as to where I’ll be in 12 months time and I don’t like it one bit. Hopefully by December I’ll have travelled to Berlin and a few other lovely cities in a far away places, gotten my self a reasonably good job that ties in with my main interests AND fingers crossed I can get my work out there into circulation for all to see.

Who knows what will come of 2010, but I’ll be documenting every single moment (as always). Above are some snaps taken over the festive period, my favourite being the Christmas card given to me (and doodled on) by Jon B. I don’t think I’ll be removing it from my shelf any time soon :).. Big weirdo, I know.
